The Beckman TJ-6 bench-top centrifuge is a large capacity centrifuge (up to 2L). It goes to 2700RPM (1520g) with the TH-4 horizontal rotor (included in the price), or up to 4480g with a fixed-angle rotor. 30 minute timer, brake, speed control dial and gauge (0-7000RPM). Spins tubes from 1 to 100ml, 250ml bottles, blood bags, microplates, BioVials and Aerosolve canisters. Buckets and inserts are extra cost as available from stock. 1) your tube or vessel volume(s)
2) how many tubes do you plan to spin at a time?
3) what speed you intend to spin at? Swinging bucket rotors tend to have limited speeds at which they are to be operated at and fixed angle rotors are generally used for higher speeds.
